Pacific Environment Architects believes architecture is the merging of art and pragmatism resulting in intuitive holistic concepts as a backdrop for human experience and fulfillment. In 2009 this firm was awarded several times for their Yellow Tree house restaurant design. The concept is driven by the ‘enchanted’ site which is raised above an open meadow stream on the edge of the woods. It is almost 10m wide and over 12m high, with the split-level floor sitting 10m off the ground.
