Doors opened.

R. Nichols began his business 14 years ago – in a dark windowless basement of his parents’ home. “I wasn’t padlocked down there or anything – I was allowed to come out.” He was searching for a career / purpose and began to rediscover his 6th gread skill, cutting and pasting tiny collages which in turn became a small line of greeting cards. He later confesses; “I took my tiny collection of stationary and pounded the pavement. knocking on doors. I found that the doors were opened and R. Nichols began appearing on the shelves of Neimans Marcus, Barney’s, Gump’s and many more.
